inventory adjustment

hai all
i am in serious trouble
while adjusting item cost system is automaticlly adjusting all the entries agian and again that the varience in my item cost updates to too high
i am facing the same problem while running the batch or if i do the adjustmnet calc as day in inventory setup ](*,)

can any one help me in this senario

What are you "actually" doing. Are you removing stock in a FIFO environment and altering the cost on the stock adjustment journal as you do it?
