Routing Link Code

when i set up my routing,i added routing link codes for specific operations,then assign these codes for some components on a production BOM.
what i want to know is what is the procedure when i make a production order and when i use the output/consumption journal.Also what changes do i have to make on the Flushing Methode regarding the components item card,and how will this affect the inventory?.

If you use the backward flushing method and you post some output, and if there are correctly set the link codes, the consumption will be posted automatically for the output quantity you posted... that's the short description 8)

Basically routing link code is used to consume any BOM item at a specific operation. There are many combinations of benefits depending upon the requirements.
