Technical client of different countries

I wonder about the following:

Talking about: Dynamics NAV, technical client 5 SP1.

I wonder if there are any differences from one country to another one other than the language packages.
I am not talking about the application and the objects.
Just about the technical client.

Does anybody know if there are any differences other than the language packages?
E. g. is the Norwegian client 5 SP1 exaclty the same than the Australian client 5 SP1?

Thank you

    I believe yes!

they are same. as MS releases the World version and over that version only, different countries do localization.

Has far I know is the same.
For example, I give support to more than one country. I use only have one client with languages packs from countries that I give support.

Thank you for your replies so far.

Yes, I also work with the same client even if I switch between Navision databases of different countries. And I have never received any problems.

But still I would like to know for sure if there is no different.
    The reason is the following:
Right now there are about 10 different countries working on 10 different Navision databases with 10 different clients.
The users connect through Citrix. So we have to publish all 10 clients in Citrix and then assign one to each user.

    What we are thinking about:
    - first we bring all databases to the same technical client (in this case 5 SP1)
    - we just publish one Navision client in Citrix
    - we add all language packages to this client

If there is a new user then we just have to assigne the one and only Navision client to him/ her.

    Would this make sense?

Problem can be the different Codepages...

And, license. Depends if you are on SQL or Native.

We are on Sequal. Do you expect any problems there?

You need to have "License per Database" granule in each license to be able to have more licenses on one server (to be able to store them in the NAV DB instead in master DB).

The codepages can still be problem if the countries have different one.
