Need Help To Improve The Performance

I have a problem with the performance. In Navision when I try to generate a report the system is getting stuck for some time. After some time the printing options are coming. What is the reason for this delay?
How can it be solved? I tried the same from another machine the same was the result. The systems connected with the particular database all have the same problem. Please help me

Is there some filters in the report and you have many recs but the filtered recs are small?
SQL or Native?
It seems that there is some code OnInitReport, because of the delay showing the request form (if you mean this by "printing options").

Thanks for Suggestion I don’t think it’s the problem with the Codes previously for the past 1 year there was no problem. Very recently the problem was experienced. I think on report preview there is no problem. Is it the system level Problem?

You could be using your client monitor for that as well.. .
