How and where to do solve that?

Hi,

I 'm playing with a demo Database for myself and when I run a function "create location" , i have this message:

" The item leger entry table does not have an active key that starts with the following fields: "item No'; "location code"; open"; "variant code"; "unit of measure code"; "lot No"; "serial No".

Please if you can help me to solve the problem step by step??

Hi,

If you have table designer on your licence then:

go to the object designer and design the item ledger entry tables
Go to the key (View->Keys)
is the Key "Item No.,Open,Variant Code,Positive,Location Code,Posting Date,Expiration Date,Lot No.,Serial No." enabled?
if not, tick as enabled and save and compile
