Nav 4.3 cut and paste to Excel problem

Has anyone had a problem with cut and pasting data from Navision 4.3 data lists to Excel?
Workstation OS is XP Pro, Excel is Win 2003 current with latest updates.
Problem is that the data is pasting into Excel as one long string of data with cariage return symbols between each field value. Problem only recently started occuring.
Is there a setting somewhere in Excel that controls this feature?

are you getting the data from a table or table type form?

Have you tried Paste Special - and try those options?

Paste Special did not work either.
Per Microsoft, this problem occurs with several other software applications and they have a hotfix. But the is no mention of Navision.

Any other ideas?

Can you trace back to see if anything was changed?

is it all tables or just one?

is this also if you mark only the first cell in excel or also if you mark the worksheet ?

to answer your question, i did not have this problem when i worked in 4.0 sp3. we had the native DB, not SQL, if that makes a difference. good luck!

It has to be a problem with the workstation Excel recent Microsoft updates. We CAN copy and paste the same data source from another workstation that does not have the most recent updates from Microsoft.
