Hi all

I wish to use prepayment functionality , as i understood when we post a prepayment invoice it gets posted for a complete order but my scenario is that i have four lines in sales order where receipt of payment is scheduled on an interval of 10 days each which means i need to post prepayment invoice after every 10 days 4 times as i recieve the payment but in standard course it is not allowing to post a partial prepayment invoice. pl help if anyone has an idea about prepayment.

Hi Chris,

as per my understanding of your problem, the system does allow you to post the partial invoice.

you can also use the Sales Invoice functionality where you can use the Get Shipment functionality to invoice one line of the order which is shipped.
