Posting adjustments to closed Fiscal Year

Hello all, i am having some split opinions on how one should properly post adjustments to an already closed year.

Does anyone know whats the proper way?

You can a post to a closed entry has a regular posting from a General journal, the main difference you will notice is that field “Prior-Year Entry” in post G/L Entry has value to true.
