adjust cost

This is 4.0 sp3 version.
After running adjust cost for a given item the field "cost is adjusted" still remains as false.
I wanted to know why when is the field left unchecked.
I thought it always checked once Adjust cost routine has been run for an item.

After running a batch job, if any transaction is posted against the item, Then Cost is Adjusted field
again becomes FALSE.

I know that. Nobody is running any transaction in the db. It is a copy of the database on my pc.

If you are using manufacturing and haven't run calc low level code, or if you are filtering on set of items in adjust cost, the Flag will not be set to true after one run. Once you run it for all items and rerun it for the specific item, it will adjust the cost.

Also if you have an item that you are transferring from location to location constantly, you will see the flag not being set.
