RIM text to decimal convention issue

cunnycunny Member Posts: 129
Hi guys,

The RIM (NAVW15.01) gives me some wrong decimal convention results when I apply the data from migration data to the destination table 81 (Gen. Journal Line). It divides the decimal by 1000 automatically which is not supposed to be like that. In migration data table I see 505,680 but after I apply it it becomes 505.7. I tried to change the text to decimal convention function in CU 5302 but it didn't work for me.

Any idea?

    Hi,

I think this is a country issue. In some countries the "," is a decimal and in others it's a thousand seperator.

    What Versions are you using?

Correct, it's a contry specific problem, but it is a problem, that occurred in ver 5.1.

5.1 is not able to import decimal values correct if you are not using dot as decimal point.

A made a temporarly solution by replacing CU 8611 with the 5.0 version.
