negative adjustments in the item journal.

I am getting many negative adjustments in the item journal for quantities of less than one. I`m using the Item Journal Function > Create Warehouse Adjustments and the entries appear.
I need to figure out why they appear and how to prevent it in the future.

If someone post credit memo without using sales return orders, you'll get a negative 1 adjustment when you calc whse. adjustment.

Of course, there are other causes such as users posting item journal without using warehouse journal. But the credit memos are usually the main cause.

If you post item journal, it will not touch the warehouse entry table. So when you calculate warehouse adjustment, it'll suggest the difference between the warehouse entry and the item ledger and suggest you post adjustments to match to the warehouse entry.
