Updated some field in the transaction

If someone filled the Quote transaction ( in Purchase & Payable module ), then the next step is make the order for this quote, right ?

The question is, can anyone update some field in the Order transaction ( which come from the Quote that had been done before ), for example some field in the " Invoice " tab, or in the " Shipping " tab, etc ?

If it can, so how about the data that had been input by the person / the user berfore ?

Yes, of course, all fields can be changed!

If it can, so how about the data that had been input by the person / the user berfore ?

The data which was entered before (in Quote) simply doesn't exist anymore respectively has been "upgraded" to be an order. In fact it's the same Purchase header / lines with a new number and a changed Document Type.

So what's the problem?

If all fields can be changed, and the lastest data had been keep by the sistem, then, how can I protect this changed ? ...... I mean, I want to protected that anybody can't changed the fields that had been filled by the user before
