The account under which you are connecting must have enough permissions to connect to the DB. If I am not wrong, the outlook add-in is using C/Front to connect to the NAV DB.
There are two companies in my db.
One is Cronus and another is Rich International.
The error msg occurred when I try to test connectivity with the Test Connection function (MS Outlook 2007)
by selecting the company Rich International (not Cronus)

When I click on the button Test Connection, it gives an error msg.
The Connection to "Microsoft Dynamics NAV database failed......

In my pc I hav Installed Nav 5.0 SP1 (Native),
Microsoft Dynamics NAV Outlook Add-in ,Navision Applicatio server, Office Outlook 2007.
I think they are all configured.
Then Why C/FRONT unable to connect the DB ?
Outlook Integration with Navision 5.0 SP1 IN is not working.
MS Office Outlook 2007 can find Server Name and Company Name but can't connect
the the DB.
Can anyone explain what is reason behind that ??

<EDIT> Answer is that you need to install the NAS in order for Outlook Sync to work.

Are you using the "Application Server Manager" tool to do your setting, if yes, could you please post your parameter setting.
