Dimension value customization

hi
if user want to add dimension and there are two dimension Project and other is site. There are many projects and In a project there are many sites,,
User said that if i select a project value in project dimension code
and then select the site dimension and click on lookup of site value then only those site will
see which are related to Project selected not all ](*,) [-( ..

    U can solve this problem by using Dimension combination.


    The Dimension Value Combinations window is a matrix of allcombinations of dimension values for a particular dimensioncombination.

    Select which combinations are not allowed by clicking theAssistButton in the relevant Dimension Combination and selectingBlocked. If you leave the combination blank, it is allowed.

    Or you can make a hierarchical Dimension

    000-00 projects

    001-00 Project abc
    001-01 Site hdd
    001-02 Site adsfads
    001-03 Site rgwtg
    001-99 Project ABC total
    002-00 Project abc
    002-01 Site hdd
    002-02 Site adsfads
    002-03 Site rgwtg
    002-99 Project ABC total
    003-00 Project abc
    003-01 Site hdd
    003-02 Site adsfads
    003-03 Site rgwtg
    003-99 Project ABC total


    This also increases performance significantly because you have half the dimensions entries.

    its odd that Navision added this hierarchical ability form the start, yet very few sites I have seen are using it.
