hi,

I just started to explore Navision 3.70 and i m from NAvision 3.01 user. There are this function Archive document in Sales Order function interest me. I have no idea where to retrived all the archived document data. Please help..thank you

    Hi Aquarious,

    Try the following:

    1. Create a new Sales Order (or Quote), fill-in header and lines for example;
    2. Click Functions, Archive Document - the document will be archived - you will see "1" in the "No. of Archived Versions" field (on the header);
    3. Then you can change this Order somehow - add one line for example;
    4. Now, if you want to restore the document as it was archived - do the following: Click on DrillDown button in the "No. of Archived Versions";
    5. In opened window you can see all your archived versions - currently there is only one version there. Open the Card for this line.
    6. Click Restore button - your Order is restored :!: (Just remember to refresh the form of the Sales Order after restoring and you will see it in the state as it was archived)

    You can archive your documents as many times as you like and then restore any of archived versions.

    The same goes for Purchases & Payables area.
