Dear all,
I tried to install Demo Database (version W1). The RTC was installed, but the Classic Client couldn't be installed and return the following error
'Error 1324 folder path Microsoft Componets contain invalid character'.

After few unsuccessful attempt, I tried to remove the NAV 5 SP1 (since it is in the same folder with NAV 2009 and I began to think it may caused the trouble) from Control Panel, but again I received the same error. Then I tried to run NAV 5 SP1 installation package, and it returned the same error. But when I ran NAV 4.0 installataion package, it returned no error.

Please advise,

Thanx b4

Yup, I installed it to the default folder (C:/Program Files/Microsoft Dynamics NAV/60), but in the "C:/Program Files/Microsoft Dynamics NAV" I already had Dynamics NAV 5 SP1 installed.

I did the installation on XP with SP 3

And from where you are installing? Is there some special character in the path of the installation source?

I ran it from my hard disk. I just did the simplest thing, click the autorun --> Install --> Demo Database
