Could any expert throw some information about the User manuals.
That means after complete the project we need to give the User manauls to client about the purchase process....


even i gone through the partners source, i c ould not get.

so please share the format what u already using.

There are no standard user manuals available which can be given out of box. You can take the help of the standard to include the functionalities implemented.

We had given training to all people. But there is no rule that employee has to work in that company life long.

It is also not possible to train the people who are joining in that person's place.


So we are going to make usermanuals.

is it correct ?

Training comes with training material correct? That training material should then be stored on a shelf, and when a new person comes and joins the company, they get to learn the system with that material. Or did you just show it to them without giving them anything to refer to after the training? In that case, someone who already works there shows them how it works.

F1 help is the standard 'user manual' that comes with NAV. Anything else you will have to create yourself.

we spend some days to give the training to client .
At that time we did not submit any manuls.

This is the time to leave , so could u throw any format which is Microsft had given.

on partnersource you can find training materials.
And when you give a training, include your custom. objects, you give the persons also your, self created, user manuals.
U must create this These manuals. If the customer need this documents and also a complete help, you can sell him this ;-)
But it's on you to create this docs. And this is what, also, Daniel mean
