Job Journal Posting - creates too many Job Entries

I create a Job Journal Line, type=Item.
When I post it, it creates an Item Entry and a Job Entry.

I don't want the Item Entry to be created, so I use the field "Job Posting Only", found on the Job Journal Line.
When I post it then Item Entry is not created, which is fine.
But... surprise... it creates hundreds of Job Entries!!

Is it a bug? How do I solve it? Should I post the line using any other option?
