Dimension In Kitting

Hi All,

I have a problem when I try to post a BOM Journal, related
to item dimension.

This is the scenario :

I create a new item A and define default dimensions, like :
- Area = Region A

Item A has some components attached in it, they are :
- Item 1, has default dimension :
* Area = Region A [Code Mandatory]
* Product Brand = Brand 1 [Code Mandatory]
- Item 2, has default dimension :
* Area = Region A [Code Mandatory]
* Product Brand = Brand 2 [Code Mandatory]

I create new BOM Journal to kit the components to Item A.
Everything is OK, except when I try to post the BOM Journal, the system
gives me error :
- Select dimension value code for the dimension code Area for item 1.

I have defined dimension value for item 1, why do I get such error?

Anyone has idea to solve this problem?

You'll need to make modificationto carry the dimension to tempJnlDim variable before posting.
