Different in Qty and Remaining Qty in ILE

Hi Nav masters,
I have a problems in my clients inventory,
I want to ask is there any way so that If i SUM my Qty and Remaining Qty
in Item Ledger Entry the amount will be different?

Because on all of my client and in my experience all of the them will be the same.
Just suddenly i have 1 client that their Qty and Remaining Qty is not the same.
I copy the records in ILE then paste to Excel and do some manual SUM.

So is there anyone ever experience this problem?
Or can someone give some advice?

Thanks in advance

    Namaste!

Ideally there should not be any diff if you sum up Qty and Remaining Qty in ILE, unless the
data is modified in ILE by other ways.

    Hi,

Just wanna confirm from Nav masters in this forum, so the suspect is Bad Customization or Someone change from ILE table?
The correct one should be the same right?

    Thanks

yes, correct ILE, the sum of qty and remaining qty should be the same.

Run the queries with a date filter. Keep moving the date back until they balance. What you are looking for is the day that they went out of balance. This may help you to narrow down the cause.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

Date filter won't work, remaining qty is not a flow field. It is updated as application is applied.

You need to look at Item application and find entries that do no match qty.

    Hi Ara3n,
Did you mean Item Application Entry table?
    How to check?
I'm thinking on writing a report to check Qty that not match, but i'm just guessing now
Can you be more specific on how to compare/check?

    Thanks in advance
