NAV 5.0 Req Wksht

When running the Req Worksheet, if 2 or more lines appear for the same item (because of different due dates), is there an easy way to combine the quantities on a single PO?

When we make the dates identical and carry out the action message, they still appear as separate lines on the PO.

Change the the reordering policy of the item itself to achieve this, there is no grouping of items into one line because they are driven by separate requirements as per your settings.

I suggest reordering cycle "Lot-for-Lot" and you also have to enter a "Reorder Cycle" to combine demands.

Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately, we're still not getting this to work.

The item is set up as "Lot-for-Lot" and we played with the "Reorder Cycle" settings (30D, CW-1D, and blank)....the end result is the same. The item still appears on the Req Wksht twice. We also changed the "Planning Flexibility" to "None", but that didn't make a difference.

Any other thoughts as to how we can get these lines to combine?

    Thanks :D

Difficult to comment without knowing the demand profile and all of the relevant planning item settings. Can you provide all of the necessary information? Are you using SKU's? What is teh components at location setting? etc etc

After further analysis, we determined the problem was due to the Calculate Plan starting date.
