How integration via web services is done in NAV 2009.

In a way, that you enable some codeunit or page as WebService and other application can "consume" this webservice to read and insert the data into NAV like when you are reading and entering the data into the system with all the Business logic behind it... I recommend to read/watch the demos how it is easy to publish the codeunit or page as webservice.

If you have some specific question, describe it. Your question is to wide to answer it without demoing and longer conversation...

The webservice integration doesn't foresee "comsuming a web service" from within NAV (C/SIDE) (yet) in this release. That is done the same way as before... .
