calculating the Excise Amount in PO

Hi Al,
Will you please tell me ..in Purchase Order, if i m selecting Excise bus. Posting Group or Excise prod Posting Group ..why is it not adding into the corresponding line..as i want to calculate the Excise Amount...what i nedd to do for that

For this First u need set up the Excise Posting groups In Finance setup.
Then U need to assign the Excise Posting groups In customer Card , and same as In Item card.
Then define the structure .
Call the structure in Sales order form.
Then enter the Item qty,item price in Sales line.
Then Run the calculate structure Function.
Then system will calucate BED %, excise amount.ameen0 -

you also need to define different duty calculations in Excise posting setup for combinations of excise bussiness & product posting group
