    Hi Ramya,

You can link resposibility centar to location(s).

    General ledger,setup,responsibility centar,locations

Yes Roby, you are right in std. Navision one Resp.centar = one location.

what can be done without programing is something like :

    Resp.centar1 -location white,
    Resp.centar1A-location red,
    Resp.centar1B-location black,

    Resp.centar2-location orange,
    Resp.centar2A-location blue

    .. and so on.

    Hi Navi-man,

Thanx for the reply. However, will that be the correct solution, because, consider this scenario.
I have 3 responisiblity centers,a,b and c representing different states in my country.
Now, state a has regions region a,regionb and regionc while state b has regions a,regionb and region c.
In such scenario, how is it possible to have a reponsibilitya, and a1 and so on as u have suggested.

    Please suggest a solution.
Moreover, the manuals say that it is possible.Y do they....
    thanx and regards,

    Ramya,

Since std Navision has one responsibility centar= one location, you may trick it the way to put the state-1,state-2,state-3 marks in the code field, put the state name in the state field, and put the region name in the location field.

This way you can create a report based on the state name field.

It would help to explain what is your final goal, report or something else ?

    you

    correction-syntax error :

I meant you can put state name in the NAME field, and base a report on the NAME field.
