Hi,
I found out that you can allocate an employee with a vendor account. Therefor you must choose the employee type contractor.
My questions are:
Which Modules of AX use the vendor account I have chosen in the employee table?
I don´t know the use in G/L, Acc/R, Acc/P...
What do the employee types contractor, employee and works centre mean.
Can someone help me please?
Thanks,

Smurf

In SFDC you can define an employee as a machine to enable you to log the time a machine spends on a job. The prerequisite of the SFDC employee is that an employee exists, therefore it seems logical to set this employee up as a work centre, as this is what it is.

As for the contractor this is a differentiation between a full time employed person and someone on a non-permanent contract.

I am not sure but I do not believe these settings actually affect anything, they are just a categorisation of the employee, but this is not really my area!
