Downloaded 2009, got this error. Did anyone else get this? I'm downloading this 197MB file from another source - don't know if this is the right thing to do?

I haven't finished downloading. I will see if I get it once I try.
Make sure you have .net 3.0 installed.

    Hey Aran,

Let me know how far you get. I don't have .Net 3.0 installed; but it was just uncompressing the .exe zip file. Even Winrar gave me error on uncompressing the 3.5 redistribution package.

But if it is that 3.0 is not there I will get it rolled out.

I'm getting the same error. The zip file is corrupted.

you can extract all the other files using winrar, and then download the .net 3.5 redistribution package from Microsoft downloads.

until they fix the zip file of course.....

    WinZip Self-Extractor
ZIP damaged: file C:\NAV2009\ServiceTier\ISSetupPrerequisites\Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5\dotnetfx35.exe: Bad CRC a5d57e44 (should be eded22ae). Possible cause: file transfer error.
    OK

    yep, me too

What's weird is that there seem to be at least 2 other files with the same name in there. Do you think they're all copies of the same file? I ran two of them through Beyond Compare and it found no differences.

I was able to extract all files but the one with winrar, at least that doesn't get stuck on that file. Now all I wonder is whether I can just put a copy of that file in that folder...

Wow... That was a gross waste of electricity and bandwidth... :(

I downloaded it yesterday and I have no problem. And do not forget that same installer is in \Prerequisite Components\Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5\ of the install DVD...

I can confirm that the first version on Partnersource had encountered an error during upload - and has been fixed on 11/15 11PM (danish time).

The one on Partnersource now - works - but you guys wheren't supposed to know until next week :)

    Thanks for the update Freddy.

It was posted on the public newgroup, and I noticed that it has been removed from the web interface. Before we get accusations of breaking NDA, here's a screenshot of the posting in my newsreader:
Look at it this way, we saved some embarassment for next week

I went to downloads and discovered the new version, which unzipped just fine.

Now we just need to know if we can install it as a separate version and keep 5.01 as Daniel posted in a different topic area.
