Credit Card Entries Form Error (06:ERROR 06)

Hello all,

An end user encountered an error (06:ERROR 06) in the Approval/Denial Code field of Credit Card Entries form in NAV.

The customer states that their credit card is valid and that they use the card for purchases elsewhere. Has anyone else had this error and if so how did you troubleshoot this issue?

    Personally, I don't believe the customer is always right. 8)

    What I've seen is that things like name with certain characters causes it not to approve.

    I saw this on simcrest CC authenication. The Customer at the store had American express and the Name had & in it. This caused it to be denied.

    I suggest to look for anything else that is different on the card.

    Thank you very much...I will look into this again keeping your suggestions in mind. Yeah, in regards to the 'customer' reply, that's a consideration as well. But how to tactfully validate...that's the thing.

    I'll reply back once more and close after I investigate further. Chris
