hi NAV gurus,
the requirement is like this...
one of our clients wants to have two different Accounting periods for single year ... for eg: Jan 2008-Dec 2008 and April 2008 - Mar 2009 in the same company... is it possible...?
pls help...

Create Accounting year in the following way:
1) Jan 2008 to March 2008
2) April 2008 to Dec 2008
3) Jan 2009 to March 2009
and so on......
Close income statement on 31st March 2008, 31st Dec. 2009,31st March 2009 and 31st March 2009.
Group the two periods to prepare the desired reporting requirement. You might need to build a custom trial balance report.
