Hi,
We have a BOM which includes several screws that are subcontracted using 1 purchased part. Below is the example.
BOM
B011 Screw with lenght 11mm (subcontract, made from B015)
B012 Screw with lenght 12mm (subcontract, made from B015)
B013 Screw with lenght 13mm (subcontract, made from B015)
+ Other parts
B011, B012 and B013 are made from B015, i.e. with length 15mm. We tried to purchase at the beginning only 15mm, then subcontract to make the 11mm, 12mm and 13mm.
How should we maintain this information in Navision? Should we include in the production BOM only part no. B015 with Qty 3, or separately B011, B012 and B013 with Qty 1 each? We also concern the subcontract cost and the material cost.
Can anyone give some detailed operation steps? This will help a lot. Thanks.
