NAV/Navision Classic Client
ODBC Error Occured. Restricted Data Type attribute violation. State ID: 07006.
Hi Everybody,
I'm having this error every time I open navision and can't access the database at all. Has anyone ever had a similar problem??
Regards,
Steve

We have the same problem.
Did you find a solution?
Thanks in advance.

which MDAC version do you use on the clients?
Do you make it right, it works too!

Maybe
this
helps, but test it before or use the available SP.

You might have a problem with a data type in the [$ndo$dbproperty] table.
Are you able to create a new database and access that one ok?

Hi
Thanks for replying.
I can create or open another db without problems.
On a copy of the db in question a have overwritten the the table [$ndo$dbproperty] to see what happens, still the same error.
Any other ideas.
Thanks in advance.
