Warehouse Management based on User Role

Dear All,

Does anyone know how to filter warehouse location based on user role without using warehouse management module?

For example :
User A [Warehouse 1] is only excused to see items in Warehouse 1, 3, 5
User B [Warehouse 2] is only excused to see items in Warehouse 2, 3, 5

So, for any transaction that requires these users to take items from warehouse,
they just can take it from the specified Warehouse.

Any idea to do this, without having to make any customization?

Without modifications, you would need to enable warehouse management and setup warehouse employees. Your request is a standard feature in NAV.

I don't think it's standard nav to limit users to see only subset of items.

I suppose the user can use the bin contents screen to show only the items and the bins for the specific warehouse. But that will require bins...

It's more complicated than that.

When are warehouse shipment is created, the user should only see the items he suppose to see.

When pick is assigned to a user, only pick lines for that user should be created.

When they receive, putaway, whse adjust, move, all need to preven the user to see certain items.

This is a major change.
