Vista Ultimate and message "Resource type cannot be found"

After installing 3.70 - 5.01 clients on Vista ultimate, I receive the following message after opening a company "The specified resource type cannot be found in the image file" in all versions of NAV, anyone?

Versions 3.7 - 4.0 SP2 are not compatible on Vista. Even for 4.0 SP3 you need a platform update to make it work on Vista. Don't even try to make that work, you will F%$k up your computer, believe me, I tried. Create an XP VPC on your machine to work with those versions.

Deleting the older versions solved the error. Now using vmware.
