Problem with Hyperterminal

Hi folks,

I need your help.

I tried to connect with HyperTerminal to NavisionMiniforms.

The services

Database Server

Application Server

Communication System Service

VT100 Plugin

are all running.

I tested the isntallation by hyperterminal. Everything works fine, when the hostaddress in Hypeterminal ist set to "localhost".

But when I set the hostaddress in hyperterminal to the current IP-address or the loopback-address, the hyperterminal can't establish a connection.

Is there anyone who can help me?

Have you checked the port number that you're trying to connect too? I believe there is a default port that the service is setup to listen on when you initially install all of the components. You will have to included that information when you make your connection via hyperterminal.

yes! I have cheked the port 6666 is the defaul port for VT100 Plugin-Service.

In the Windows-registry i changed the values for "CSS ServerIP" and "Plugin ServerIP" from 127.0.0.1 to the "normal" IP. After this the all services are running without errors.
