Hi all.
This is my first post because I'm new to nNavision.
I want to ask for your help sizing a server for Navision Attain under SQL and Windows Server 2003.

We have 150 users plus 20 users in an external Office, 74.000 orders/year and 4.000 customers.
Now we are using People Soft under Oracle and works in its limit with an R9000 HP UX system with four 440MHz processors and 5 GB of RAM.
Our Database may grow 7-10GB year.

I'm thinking in a Four Xeon 2.8MHz/2MB Cached processor system with 8GB of RAM and a fiber SAN with 14 disks of 36 or 72 GB.
Is it too much?, is it too low for our work?

Any advice would be welcomed.

Thanks from a newbie.

Yes. My company has two locations, Madrid with 150 ERP users and Barcelona with 20 ERP users.

If you speak to your Navision Reseller they should be able to help with this as I think Navision has paper that can help recommend the required sizing for your requirements.

Thanks Dean, it's true and the computer I've post here is based in their recomendations, but it seems to large for my exerience.

And all I want is a "second opinion" based in the experience of the forum people.
