This is for updating general ledger manually, but I want automatic cost adjustment i.e., How to set the programme
up to perform automatic cost adjustment every time you post inventory transactions.

Warehouse->Setup->Inventory Setup->Automatic Cost Adjustment option. Set it to Always. Remember this will effect performance.

I have searched in that , but Automatic cost adjustment field is not available there. This is NAV4.0_SP3
Plz. let me know how to get it.

Warehouse->Setup->Inventory Setup form , - >Ctrl +F2 - > Field Menu ->select that field . Automatic cost adjust ment.

Automatic cost adjustment field is not available in field menu.

Automatic cost adjustment is not available in 4.0 sp3. It was added in 5.0

In Indian Localization It is available for the Version 4.0 SP3

Ours is Indian localisation Version 4.0_SP3 with HF7

Go to Table Id - 313

Table Name : Inventory set up

Go to Design then

Check the Field ID = 30
Filed Name : Automatic Cost Adjustment
This is fields is Option field ,
Those options are : Never,Day,Week,Month,Quarter,Year,Always

Check it .
