Hi frens,

After selecting the Database in NDT (Version 2.0 SP3), system pops an error saying "Database error : 1048".After saying OK , it says.."You have not selected the database".
I have created toolkit Database using 5.0 Executables.

I have also created tollkit database with 4.0 executables and tried opening it in NDT.This time it says" Database Error:1362"

Can some1 help me out on this! :(:(

    Hello,
I have the same pb :
Developer toolkit 2.00 SP 3. Nav Database version 5.0
I got this error when opening the NDT Database : 1048
    then
"You have not selected a database."
    and finally error 1046

I think it is due to licence !!! I'll change flf and stx files ! hope it will work

How to solve this please ?
    thank you

I changed the license and stx-file with out solving the problem.

Then some colleagues of mine told me, that they "down-graded" their NDT database from 5.0 SP1 to 4.0 SP3 (backup 5.0, create new 4.0 and restore there).
    That solved the problem.

Indeed, you can't have a developer toolkit base itself on a 5.0 db (not until the next version that supports 5.0 db's)

:) But untill I had Vista installed, I used a 5.0 SP1 version as DB.

    So on XP it's possible.

That strikes me as odd, because I am working on XP.
What version of the DTK did you use?

    2.0 SP3 build 291 - I actually changed from a NAV 4.0 SP3 to a NAV 5.0 SP1 at a time I had problems.

I also noted, that this was the first time, that NDT did use the most recent DB available.

Well, never mind, the most importent is to have NDT working :)
