We are about to implement WMS. A common practice among our sales staff is to give the customer an order total, and a shipment total (i.e. what is going to ship today).
In our current non-WMS 3.7 version, the sales rep can do this by hitting F9. Order total is shown. And the shipment total is calculated based on the line items where qty. to ship > 0.
With WMS, qty. to ship is controlled by the system. It is not populated until after a pick is successfully registered. So while the sales rep has the customer on the phone, F9 no longer works as a way to tell the customer what will ship.
How can this be done easily? Is this a request other navision users have? This seems like a very basic need. I hope there is an easy solution that I have not found yet. thanks.
