Can Due date on Sales order calc. using the delivery date?

We currently set a payment term code for every customer.
For some products / customers, we want to calculate the due date of payment using the delivery date.
But when we create an invoice (not posted), the payment term and due date should have filled automatically.
If we want to have the aging report reflecting true figures, should we update the due date manually before posting the invoice? Any other better way to do this?

You can modify the OnValidate trigger of the delivery date to modify the due date field.

The due date is also one of teh editable fields as standard in the ledger entry, so you can double click on teh posted line and alter this date.
