MD-NAV 4.03 on Vista Business + Outlook 2007

Hello,

our customer is using MD-NAV 4.03 on Vista. When he tries to send email via navision (standard CDU 397 Mail is used), MD NAV crashes with unspecified error, see image attached. We tried to reinstall MD-NAV on build 25143 and applied hotfix 27010. This didn't help. Then we've replaced OLHandler.dll with the one used in MD NAV 5.01 with no success. Then we tried to install CDO and no success too. We have reproduced the error on clean install of Vista and Office 2007 in Virtual PC (including all MS service packs).

Does anybody have any idea what can be wrong?

Customer is using Outlook 2007 with Exchange mail account in online mode (no local caching).

Try to use OLHandler from older versions (NAV 4.00 adn 4.00SP1). Do not forget to reregister the DLL when you are replacing it (regsvr32.exe). Did you contacted MS support? You can have answer in one day from them...

thanks for the tip. It didn't help, the same error occurs (just library version is changing). I try to avoid contacting MS Support since their best answer is "buy a new version". Our coleague will look at it on friday. If no success, we will contact MS.
