Use location code as prefix may be of 1 or 2 characters

I'm not a big fan of "smart" number in systems. I say just use a number series. The location is already part of the record. If you need to display it on a report it's already there. No need to duplicate the information as part of the lot number.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

You can find in the Item Card --> Item Tracking Tab --> Lot Nos

This is used for automatic generation of Lot number series

I likes to use smart numbers when there is need to identify the origin of transactions by users not connected with the Nav system. For E.g. Sales Invoice from a office having multiple dispatch locations.

Not to say I never use them. Just that I try to avoid where possible. In this specific situation I don't see the need since the location information is already part of the record.

    I have Six Locations.

    A , B, C, D , E, F

So i defined the Six number series for Location wise Lot tracking.

I had given the relationship for six number series.

I created a purchase order and for Location B . i go to Item traking Line and run the function Assign Lot no , then system automatically

assigning the A location lot number series.

Here the problem is It does not show up the number series when run the function Assign lot no.

so how can i assign the lot no location wise.
