Merge Fields in MS Word

Hi,
While opening MS WORD document via create interaction wizard for the contact, I get the postal address as a merge field in wrong coding (language code is 1062) for some contacts and correct one for the others. The result depends on the contact name. The language code is the same for both the contacts and interaction template. Does anybody know what could be a reason?
I use Navision 5.0 and MS Word 2003.
Thanks for any help!

    I have the same problem with 5.0 SP1 and Word 2007. Latvian language characters are incorrect.
    Any solution found ?

    I had similar problem, my solution:

    make merge file with local letter in header name:
    wrdMergefile.AddField('Rašto data');
    š - is Lithuanian letter

    In word document make Merge Field named "Rašto data" or "RaÕto_data"

    Õ = š

    Hope this will help you,

    Actually, above solution does not work always. :-k

    I started to use bookmarks instead of mergefields. With bookmarks I had no problems with local letters.
