Matrix form with no values...

BGIBGI Member Posts: 176
Hi,
anybody already noticed that with client 5.0 SP1 when you open a matrix form, all of the captions and values on the right side of the form are blanc?
Simply close + reopen and everything is ok....

It's not a programming issue, because at least the form should show the dates as a title, but even these are blanc.

It looks strange, and i think it's a bug in the client soft.

    Hello Garak,

I've tried to find solution in MS KB, but no results for "matrix" (and other) keywords. I appreciate If you sent me KB article number or bookmark.

    Hello Garak,

client is 27191 build, which is probably update 1 (we asked Microsoft for KB956161 hotfix and we installed it).

We have worked on trying to reproduce the issue with our development team and we came to this remark:

The concern only occurs when the form is maximized and the last column is the last value.
So a simple workaround is not to work with maximized forms or setup the size of columns so the last columns are empty columns.

    Ok,
that of the maximize i get, but i don't get the last size trick.
Can you give some more info on that one?

=> If the window is maximized, then you can reduce the columns width to prevent the last value to be on the border of your window.
