XML Port problem: export of empty variables

hello, i built an XML-port with many string-fields.
now if some of them are empty they are export as

<variable></variable>

the target system for these XML files cannot import emty variables in some cases.
how can i suppress the export of these fields? :-k

Check the property MinOccurs on the field. But still I am not sure if it is possible to "skip" empty fields in XMLPort...
