Routing Line dataport question

gadzilla1gadzilla1 Member Posts: 316
Hello all,
I'm creating a dataport for the Routing Line table. The excel source file was provided by an end user.

Other than making sure that the Routing Line."Routing No." exists in the header, what are other considerations I should be following? I'm not too familiar with routes and want to make sure I don't skip any details.

Thanks for any help. Chris

The Routing Line source file fields are as follows:

Routing No.
Operation No.
Next Operation No.
Previous Operation No.
Type
No.
Work Center No.
Work Center Group Code
Description
Setup Time
Run Time
Wait Time
Move Time

    Hi Chris,

    No great mystery.

    1. Check the header status New/Certified etc
    2. Check the Machine/Work Centre No. depending on type.
    3. Be careful of the times unit of measure - don't want minutes going is as hours

    Hi Dave,

I appreciate your help. I went through the following steps:

    -dataport Routing Header
    -dataport Routing Version
    -dataport Routing Line
-validate correct Routing No. in Item table

Everything looks very good. I will change this to [Solved] unless there are any additions/concerns.
