problem starting BA configurator

i am facing problem while starting configurator. when i click on function > start configurator
i got the BA configurator window with sucess status for initialize, SQL server 2005 and analysis services 2005 after that as i click on next button it throw an errro "object reference not set to an instance of an object" in the first setp.
not able to find out why so?
can any one help me out? ](*,)
