Dear All,
Would like to know whether below mentioned scenario is normal or bug,
> Stock in warehouse location for particular item is 10 pcs.
> User creates the sales order from same location for same item for 10 pcs, and does the reservation.
> When warehouse staff tries to do the warehouse reclassification for that item (same warehouse location different BIN), system pops up the STOCK warning, which user overrides and tries to post the journal entry.
> system pops up the error message that there is no sufficient inventory, i can see there is code in posting routine checking the availability of items taking into consideration the reservation for same, and if insufficient, comes with the error message.
Question is , shouldn't system be allowing the BIN movement within same location
Please let me know, what you all think!!

I don't think warehouse mgmt checks Item reservation for inventory availability.

There's a bug where the Quantity and Quantity (Base) gets set with incorrect numbers if you're using SQL and version 5.0. You might want to check that first.
There's a forum post on here that addresses this problem.
