Inventory Transfer

Can we transfer the inventory of one item into other Item.
We have designed a new coding system for items.

Now we want to transfer the inventory of old item codes into new items.
Can it be done.
If Yes,what is the procedure.

Not with all connections like costing (neg. adjustment on old, positive adjustment on new item). But what about renaming the items? Did you think about it?

Namaste!

First make the inventory of old items to zero.
Then increase the inventory of new item code(exactly the same as old item).
Enter the correct item unit cost in item journal.
