Is it possible to add extended text in Chart of account

In General Ledger Granule, In Chart of account can we insert extended text using extended text functionality, If so tell me the steps. I am able to insert extended text in sales order and purchase oders, but not able to do it in g/l account or chart of accounts name field.

If we can add in these above mentioned place, Give me the steps for it.It will be more helpful.

General ledger, Chart of accounts, account,extended texts.


Problem is that when you are in the chart of accounts this text will not be visible.

If you need more than 30 characters in the name fild it requires programing.

You can still make Second line with some text under the original account.

Or you need something completely different ?

yes we want name feild more than 30 characters.u told it requires programmig, Can you tell us what has to be written there.

And also tell us how to make Second line with some text under the original account.
