Could you please give us a little mor informations?
Normally, if you need to update a field in a other table which has a table relation to your field and you rename your field NAV do the update automaticly.
If you have no table relation you must do this update "manually" like.

RecTofind.reset;
RecTofind.setrange(someField,SomeValue);
RecToFind.modifyall(Somefield,SomeValue);

But like we say, we need more infos for a better help...
