Have u Created any cube in this database ? or modified any existing one?
try it after removing the new cube or ur modification.

Hope it works fine after updating XML & run configurator.exe again

    Hi ! Ashok..

The problem is small and simple but took a long time to resolve.

The table propery is change - DATA PER COMPANY to "NO".
And that's the bug @ BA from Microsoft.
DATA PER COMPANY - NO is not supported by Microsoft.

    Regards,
    Nilesh

    Respected,

Check each table of cube for the property called "Data Per Company".
The property must set to "NO" for all the table which your cube does contain.

    Regards,
    Nilesh

I'm having the same problem to, on Nav2009 and BA analytics.
When running the configurator to update the cubes, the following error occurs:
Object reference not set to an Instance of an object.
It occurs at the first step of the second screen, after the SQL check. (making internal representation)

I updated .net framework because the service "Microsoft .NET Framework NGEN v4.0.30319_X64" and "Microsoft .NET Framework NGEN v4.0.30319_X86" doesn't start.

Seemed that the Server agent wasn't running #-o

But now, the configurator doesn't start at all.
The log reports the following error:

    .net runtime error 5000:

    EventType clr20r3, P1 configurator.exe, P2 4.0.0.27, P3 4a826bde, P4 mscorlib, P5 2.0.0.0, P6 4be90358, P7 344a, P8 21c, P9 system.io.ioexception, P10 NIL.
